Very excited to Introduce to you my newest project:
Persephone Rising - A photographic exploration of vulnerability, strength and transformation.
Sharing the stories of 40 unique human beings
All ages, shapes, sizes and genders (18 plus) are welcome to apply.
What we can learn from Persephone:
At times of darkness when you feel like you’ve lost yourself in wounds of grief and trauma, you still have the power within you to make a beautiful life for yourself. By accepting your greatest darkness, you can find strength to shine your brightest light
Over my 24 years I’ve been photographing people I have witnessed the most incredible stories of strength, resilience, and awe-inspiring courage.This project will shine a light on individuals and their journeys towards self-acceptance. The photoshoot experience is not just about taking beautiful photos, but it is also about empowerment and knowing you are enough and being seen for who you are.If you would like to be photographed as part of this project, please get in touch or fill in the pre-shoot questionnaire:
This project will combine many of the themes of my previous projects from a focus on strength, the body, tattoos, fine art, art history and seasonal themes of spring, summer through to harvest and winter. Darkness and Light.I’m very much looking forward to this project taking me through the next eight months.Very excited to get started on this!
